Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes (peeled and sliced as thin as possible)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 batch white sauce (see recipe on my account)
- 1/2 cup cheese shreds (eg Daiya cheddar, optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9"x13" casserole dish. 2. Place alternating layers of potato and onion, adding salt and pepper to each layer of potato, ending with a potato layer. 3. Evenly pour white sauce into dish. 4. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. 5. Uncover and bake for another 45-60 minutes (optionally sprinkle with shredded cheese).
